Hello! My name is Melissa Kelly and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Salve Regina University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
I come to Plymouth Pediatrics with 10 years of experience working with children and families in various treatment settings. I have worked in school-based and community-based settings doing intensive care coordination, in-home family therapy, in-home behavioral therapy as well as being a clinical supervisor and program director. I have experience collaborating with community agencies and connecting families to resources that will support them with their growth.
I use cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, strength-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy to support individuals and families thrive to their full potential. I value providing high-quality and individualized care and in a supportive and compassionate environment.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, reading, and traveling.
