Dr. Bodie grew up in Virginia near the Potomac River and learned to enjoy nature as well as the lights of Washington D.C. She moved to Los Angeles for college where she was on the diving team. She then worked for two years in a Xenotransplantation lab at Cedars Sinai before starting medical school at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. A residency at Children’s Hospital LA completed her 13 years in California. Dr. Bodie is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member, and fellow, of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Bodie moved to Plymouth, MA, in 2001 to be closer to family and start her career. She loves being a pediatrician, but when she is not working, she loves spending time with her two children. They enjoy skiing, swimming, jogging, shooting hoops and playing board games. Sometimes she even indulges in her favorite hobbies – photography and travel.
