Behavioral Health
At PPA, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. For PPA patients, our Behavioral Health Consultants are available to provide consultations, brief treatment and referral guidance related to emotional and behavioral challenges such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- ADHD
- Coping skills development
- Behavior management
- Eating disorders
- Aggression
- Issues at school
- Social issues
Behavioral Health services offered for our patients:
- Clinical assessment
- Individual and family support for symptoms that can be managed with 4-6 sessions.
- If your child requires further support, we will provide a referral to outside providers and services.
Behavioral Health visits are available in person or virtual. For virtual visits patients must be enrolled in MyChart.
Guided by Boston Children’s Hospital
As a member of the PPOC (Pediatric Providers Organization of Children’s), we have been able to educate our staff and integrate Behavioral Health into our practice. When a child begins to exhibit behavioral health issues, often the Pediatric Primary Care Physician is the first call a parent makes. At Plymouth Pediatric Associates, your primary care pediatrician initiates and oversees your child’s entrance to the treatment of behavioral health issues, thus taking a guided and wholistic approach to their mental health care.
