Kathy FortiniAfter growing up in sunny Southern California, then enduring cold Minnesota winters during her teen years and as an undergraduate, Kathy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1979 at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College in 1992.  Kathy has enjoyed making her home on the South Shore since 1982 and has practiced as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner providing primary care to children for over 20 years.  She initially worked at Children’s Hospital in Boston and then in private practice on the South Shore.  Her education and professional experience adds to her practical advice and understanding with kids and parents.  Kathy’s personal experiences growing up as the oldest of 9, being the proud mother of 3 and a loving grandmother of one only add to her abilities to assist all patients.  Kathy truly loves her profession as a PNP.

When not working, Kathy enjoys her active grandson Curtis, playing the violin in the Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra, her dog Coco, getting outdoors, gardening and sometimes she even enjoys snow shoveling!
